The Survey of Wellbeing of Young Children (SWYC) is a freely available, comprehensive screening instrument for children under 5 years of age.  Every SWYC form includes sections on developmental milestones, behavioral/emotional development, and family risk factors and social-emotional development as well as family risk factors (parental depression, conflict, or substance abuse, and hunger).  In this session, participants will be provided with an overview of the assessment, review scoring process and identify ways to incorporate into practice.
